Planning Data notes: search_planning_designations searches 382,258 listed buildings (one Historic England contributing organisation) or 11,013 conservation areas across 307 organisation IDs / 161 reported provider feeds, measured 9 August 2026.
Coverage is England only and aggregated from local planning authorities. Conservation areas are incomplete and include known duplicates; listed-building points do not define legal extents. Absence is not evidence that no designation exists. Source MHCLG Planning Data, OGL v3.0 with Historic England and Ordnance Survey attribution. See the REST reference.
